NTPC has been awarded the Best Performance Award in Public Sector Units based on electronic tendering on GePNIC portal carried out in the FY 2017-18 at the 2nd National Workshop on CPPP on 21st January 2019.
Shri K S Kalidas, GM (IT)-I/c, Shri S Shylesh, GM (IT) , Shri Ajay Kumar, AGM (ERP) and other team members received the award from Sri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) and Sri G C Murmu, OSD and Secretary designate (Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance) and other dignitaries at the Workshop held in New Delhi. NTPC has been using GePNIC portal since last 2 years after its integration with our SAP-ERP system. Till date more than 14000 tenders have been published on this.
