Simhadri has won the 2018 Innovation Award for their Control System Integration Project. C&I team of Shri Ramesh Babu Chinta and Shri Mukesh Kumar successfully executed a project of integrating relay/PLC based control systems of Stage-I with Emerson's Ovation DCS system of Stage-II. The project involved use of wireless for HT breaker control, virtualisation of servers, PLC operation from DCS front end etc. Shri Ramesh Babu Chinta and Shri Chandramouli Kasina received the award on 31st July, 2018 during Ovation User Group Conference at Pittsburgh, USA
