NTPC has been conferred with the prestigious ‘CSR Times Awards 2023’ in ‘Swachh Bharat’ category for the ‘Revival and operation of Municipal Solid Waste Management Plant, at Karsada, Varanasi”.
The award was received by Shri Neeraj Kapoor GM (CSR/R&R/LA) and Shri Promod Kumar Sahu, AGM (CSR) on 21st August 2023 at Delhi. The Award was presented by H.E. Mr. Dilshod Akhatov, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of India, Lt. Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd), Member-National Disaster Management Authority, Government of India and Shri Surendra Nath Tripathi, Retd. IAS, Director General-Indian Institute of Public Administration.
