Safe and pure drinking water is the right of every person on this planet. To this end based on the request of the Quality Circles in the villages, NTPC constructed sheds for housing the RO plant, installed equipment and handed over the RO Plants to Village Development Committee or QC who run the plants and provide drinking water to the residents of village at nominal charge covering operating and maintenance costs. These villages now have access to safe drinking water which needs no further processing to make it fit for drinking.
